This particular painting was created in two parts. On the first day Sandra and Rovandio created the background using acrylic paint, water, and paint rollers. Sandra also used her hands, rubbing the paint onto the canvas and throwing it for a splatter effect.

The canvas was allowed to dry overnight and brought out the next day to paint the horse. Sandra used a variety of brushes for the larger strokes and her hands to create the wavy mane and tail.
